Goals Don't Come to You,

You Go to Them

Don't Be Afraid To Be Great

Greg Gibbs

CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) from the NSCA; USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach; USATF (USA Track & Field Coach Level I); Assistant Football Coach; Assistant Track & Field Coach at St. John's Prep in Danvers, MA

My Career began in 1993-2002 in Division l Collegiate athletics at Northeastern University and then Harvard University as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.  I worked with many teams in Men's & Women's athletics at both Universities that included:  Men's & Women's Soccer; Field Hockey; Football; Men's & Women's Ice Hockey; Men's & Women's Basketball; Wrestling; Men's & Women's Track & Field; Men's & Women's Lacrosse; Men's & Women's Tennis; Sailing; Baseball; and Softball.

I saw the need for more athletes to become better prepared at the High School and Middle School level, so I made the jump to work with those levels.  From 2002 to present day I have not only focused on the High School and Middle School athlete but also broadened my scope to work with the general population to help people with their general fitness.  I have worked with a population that ranges from age 7 to 88.  I still continue to work with Collegiate athletes on an individual or small group setting.

What I Do

  • Listen to your aspirations
  • Understand your experiences - good, bad or indifferent
  • Asses your present level
  • Formulate a game plan
  • Teach you correct mechanics
  • Help you understand why we do what we do
  • Make adjustments along the way - If something is not working then make the necessary adjustments - there is more than one way to do something

There are two things that I can safely say are indisputable, science and math.  Everything I teach you will be based on science and math.  The human body is the most advanced piece of technology we will ever encounter.  We as humans are very advanced examples of science and our movements involve geometry and physics.  Understanding that we are all unique in our own special way, our training must parallel that uniqueness based on science and math.

“I CAN'T”

YOU CAN. YOU JUST CHOOSE NOT TO.
